About the course:

Dive into the Divine is the world of the inner practices of yoga such as meditation, visualisation, letting yourself flow into inner realms of the Self, with simple techniques that enable the practitioner to open to a new world of awareness. Tools to be used both in our personal everyday life and on our hatha and vinyasa classes. it gives us a deep vision of what we are, and the deeper dimensions of the world we live in. A week long transformational program into the world of the teacher-student relationship an the Guru (grace bestowal) principle.
Be prepared to sweat, work hard, learn a lot about traditions in Yoga, Shaiva Tantrism, Biomechanics, and expand beyond to grow your limits!

Module 1: FROM A SEAT OF THE STUDENT TO A SEAT OF THE TEACHER - SOLD OUT!

The taste of the ancient times in India. Spirit of apprenticeship, seated close to the teacher. The Guru - disciple relationship. The Adikara spirit of discipleship.

Sunday morning: Upanishads and the forest dwellers teachings
These are perhaps the oldest mystic and philosophical texts available to human kind. They contain the knowledge and the teachings of the ancient sages. This sublimes texts unfold for us a deep vision of what we are and the deeper dimensions of the world we live in and the reason for existence. For this reason this teachings where destined to be received directly from a Master that could vivified the wisdom hidden on it.

The workshop will combine a fresh and vivid reenacting of the frame place the Upanishads where presented a deep and respectful atmosphere, in which teacher and student stayed at once aligned with the spirit of the Kula the school of the lineage. We will also have the opportunity to experience some of the ancient practices of meditation that this texts contains.

Sunday afternoon: From the seat of the student to the seat of the teacher
Advanced teachings skills and capacities to communicate, support and empower your yoga class, that allow you to connect with each of your students from a deeper level, and connect with them from the space of the heart.

1) Communication skills
Teacher's tools to be learned: exploring the technical aspects of how to connect with the class both on a personal and on a group level.
Students' compendium: Students will learn to use the quality of the voice, that includes tone, intensity, regular flowing, clear phrasing of every instruction. Students will practice and learn key words to give clear instructions, such as: start from simple, direct instructions, to use basic actions of alignment and learn give and reserve more detailed instructions for advanced students.

2) Ethics
Teacher's tools to be learned: a general view on the subject of ethics, welcoming all students regardless of gender, race, religion, creed, nationality, cultural background or sexual preference; you will be trained to give feedback on a positive way, by first looking on what is right about the student.
Students' compendium: in this topic students will be introduced to the internal-external restraints, which are very important ethical guidelines for the yogi pertaining to her/his daily activities. This will provide students the tools to behave in a moral and ethical manner while maintaining a high degree of personal integrity.

Module 2: CREATING VINYASA SEQUENCES BY USING 5 PRINCIPLES OF ANUSARA YOGA

Creating an asana

Teacher's tools to be learned
: learning to build up the instructions, teaching simple and complex instructions & how to address the creation of asana.
Students' compendium: Setting the foundation, enter the outer form of the asana, focus on the four corners of the body, stabilize the outer body, energy to integrate the full range of action, staying tuned with the breath, developing inner body awareness, active expansion from inside out.
Learning Objectives: how to teach asanas by giving the instructions in a progressing order from the origin of the action towards the place of insertion. Developing attentiveness in the class.

Sequence of asanas

Teacher's tools to be learned
: 21 steps to a well rounded sequential organization of a class template. Vinyasa and Krama vidya: the knowledge of breath leading movement, move with a stable, fluid and graceful rhythm.
Students' compendium: Practicing and mastering the steps to coordinate breath and movement. Assisted by safe placement of hands and feet with muscular, skeletal engagement.
Learning Objectives: managing sequential organization and deciding which pace and intensity is more appropriate in the progress of an asana class. Practice to keep the integrity of the poses while students come in and out of the poses.

Asanas & the principles of alignment from the Anusara school

Teacher's tools to be learned
: relate different groups of asanas with the main instructions offered in the main methods of Hatha yoga. This will enable students to create classes whit a specific bio-mechanic focus and to create basic therapeutic dimensions on their teachings.
Students' compendium: five groups of instructions general overview, the asanas related to them, the proper use of asanas in the context of specific bio-mechanic intention.
Learning Objectives: learning the real tools to create concrete focus in the classes valued by their knowledge on the specific asana, appropriate for each group of bio-mechanical instructions.

Create a class theme

Teacher's tools to be learned
: Students will be offered a simple theme from different spiritual texts to build up the spirit of the day. As a consequence of this lecture the students will be building self confidence in their class, will create deep context from where the students will enrich and grow in philosophical context.
Students' compendium: The art of weaving a theme into your class. Choosing the right sentences and moods of the day. Active and passive offering of words and the appropriate use of them.
Learning Objectives: how to apply the beauty of philosophical contexts in vinyasa classes.

This course explore the base itself of life and the universe, presenting ideas of great reach and a great variety of practices that have the potential to transform and enrich radically our lifes.

Students' compendium: introduction to the mystical and philosophical aspects of tantra and its vision on regards of human life and creation itself. Presentation of this most sacred vision will be weaved trough the entire week long immersion.

Dive with us in the newest and the most inspiring form of hatha yoga: the SriDaiva stile of body mechanics, based on the study of an optimal template of postural alignment. A blueprint that shares the common background with yoga, modern dance and martial arts, originally created to keep the body strong and super hot, while the hatha yoga practice was evolving. The poses are probed to re-organize the spine alignment by making a general bow-shape in the spine, a fullness of the inner body, and also great to treat hips tension. It is characteristic for iTs fun and challenging transitions. Above all, the bodily presentations are just metamorphosis of delightful beauty and elegance - each pose takes the practitioner inside the realm of shining brightness.
