Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga combines various layers of exercise, breath control and mental focus that allow you to improve your physical, emotional and mental state. When approached in an educated and skillful way, regular practice is incredibly empowering: you understand your body, how to move it and how to take care of it. However, when forcefully practiced, this practice (like any other practice) can be harming and lead to injury.
This workshop will offer simple and safe principles that can be applied throughout the practice - whether you are healing from an injury or looking to advance in your practice. Yoga Teachers will learn tools to assess their students and how to confidently guide them step-by-step.
Both as a practitioner as well as a yoga teacher, you will improve your confidence in how to apply movement and breathing to increase health and well-being, relieve pain and help to heal injury. Your will gain a new understanding of how to use movement, breathing and subtle alignment cues in your practice and in daily living.
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th December 2022
