This workshop is created as a support to all yoga practitioners, and even more to all yoga teachers.
The human body opens so many worlds: physical, emotional, cognitive, energetic, spiritual; personal and transpersonal. If the body doesn’t activate completely, the soul has a difficult time “working through” all of the thoughts, emotions and beliefs stored within. In our bodies we store all of our own personal stories, injuries, traumas... Yoga can heal it, but very often we don't know how to handle the emotional releases, energy bursts, openings, tears that deep yogic healing can bring forth.
The focus of the workshop will be on hips, psoas and chest/heart centers, as gateways towards our aliveness, creativity, authenticity and integrity.
We will explore our physical, emotional, cognitive, and energy bodies as we bring consciousness to underlying patterns reflected in them. Some patterns bring a sense of freedom and enjoyment, while others show up as frozen energy, chronic pain, or a reflection of traumatic experiences.
Get curious about your bodies (physical, emotional, mental, energy, spiritual…) as faithful witnesses, and understand the underlying patterns reflected in your body, as well in your students' if you are a yoga teacher. Know how to hold the space of your class, for each student and yourself during challenges and difficulties on the yoga path.

In this workshop (Thursday to Saturday - 10 hrs credit of Advanced TT training ) we will explore:
Our physical, emotional, cognitive, and energy bodies as we bring consciousness to underlying patterns reflected in them. Some patterns bring a sense of freedom and enjoyment, while others show up as frozen energy, chronic pain, or a reflection of traumatic experiences.
Participants will look at:
- Reinforcing ways in which daily yoga practice opens up our bodies, making the invisible visible;
- Gaining insight into inevitable: fight-flight-freeze-faint responses;
- Understanding the complexities of early conditioning and support our growth and healing;
- Exploring how breathing, anchoring, and attention to inner sensations helps us recognize ways the body compensates, and how to prevent injuries and re-traumatizing;
- Integrating body, mind, emotions, spirit;
- Emphasizing the importance of Mindfulness, and a mind-sight that is heart-felt, where the mind- heart-belly serve as one “organ”.
