This weekend is all about connecting to yourself, and exploring the most important function in your body - your breath.
 
Do you feel stressed out and exhausted and struggle to find joy in everyday life?
Do you experience anxiety, worry, and feel overwhelmed?
Do you believe that a general lack of energy, regular back pain, shortness of breath after climbing two flights of stairs, having a hard time getting quality sleep, and waking up tense and stiff are simply normal side effects of „not being 20 anymore“? What about the occasional brain fog and consistent sugar cravings?
Most importantly - do you feel like life is happening to you or are you consciously creating the experiences that make you feel joyful and in love with life - moment by moment, day by day?
Do you see yourself growing into a fit, agile, joyful, and mindful aged person (that is still youthful)? Or do you fear „getting old“ and losing your strength and well-being?
 
By learning to regulate your breath and improving the quality of your breathing in everyday life you will be able to regulate yourself through a busy life, manage stress levels, stay aware when triggered, and will have an amazing foundation to take care of your mental, emotional and physical well-being.
 
This retreat will be the start on this journey: A quiet weekend immersed in nature (30 minutes from Zagreb), in a small group of inspired people that are dedicated to learning skills to take care of their own health and well-being. Through your breath, you will learn to manage stress, connect to yourself, increase your awareness and essentially change the lens through which you perceive life.
 
Use this opportunity to reconnect and reset your mind and body, grow your understanding of your most vital function - your breath -, and enjoy the community of fellow practitioners in a simple setting immersed in nature.
 
Mornings will start with Fire Ceremony, breathwork, and meditation, followed by a movement practice, all guided by Tom.
 
Meals are sattvic, fresh, local, and vegetarian (vegan on request).

Afternoons include workshops and time to ground and connect to beautiful nature.

Location: Green Gaia Shanti House (samoborsko gorje)

SHANTI HOUSE is a secluded wooden country house situated among the green hills above small town of Samobor, that gives a perfect opportunity for a weekend escape only 40 km from Zagreb. Featuring a cozy wooden shala, a spacious communal kitchen with the fireplace, and unlimited view to surrounding hills from the spacious terrace that gives you another living space to meditate, breathe or simply watch the amazing sunsets. The shala can fit 12 people, while there are 10 sleeping places (5 bedrooms).

Terms & Conditions

The deposit of 600 kunas is non-refundable and secures your spot. Full payment is needed until 10. June 2022.

For full payments: cancellations made until 1. May 2022 will not incur cancellation charges. After 1. May 2022, you will incur a 50% cancellation fee. One week prior to the course no refund will be possible, except in case of COVID restrictions: full refund if the training is cancelled by organisers / teacher.

By registering for this programme, you voluntarily understand and accept the following terms and conditions as set out below:

I am aware that participating in the programme requires a certain level of fitness and general physical health. I acknowledge and voluntarily assume my responsibility to assess my level of fitness and the risks of injury that are associated with physical activity of any kind including any variety of yoga. I confirm that I shall retain all control over my activities at all times. I voluntarily assume full liability and accept the risk of harm, including physical injury and discomfort as a result of my participation in the activities in this programme. I will inform the teachers and/or assistants of any limitations or medical conditions that may affect my practice.

I agree that organisers reserve the right to accept or kindly decline the application of a participant at any time, to make changes in the schedule whenever reputed necessary for the comfort and convenience to all participants. In the case that the event is cancelled or postponed organisers shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of money or expenses paid by the participant if the event cannot be re-scheduled.

I understand that photos may be utilized for communications efforts. To that end, I hereby grant the organizer permission to record the name, image and/or appearance on the above referenced date or dates of me and to use and publish the pictures, video and digital images and the like without compensation, and I waive any right to inspect or to approve any project that may be created using these materials.
